Building a better future through sustainable development
Our Story
Caritas Sustainable Development Foundation (OCAC) was established in November 2023 as a non-governmental organization by the Old Catholic Apostolic Church. We emerged from a deep commitment to addressing the development challenges facing vulnerable populations in our communities.
Our name reflects our commitment: "Caritas" (charity/love in Latin) combined with our focus on sustainable development guided by Catholic Social Teachings. We believe that true development must be rooted in love for the common good and respect for human dignity.
Since our establishment, we have grown to serve multiple communities, building partnerships with local organizations, government agencies, and international partners. We believe that sustainable development is a collective responsibility requiring commitment, evidence-based approaches, and deep community engagement.
